Ignite Description
We are seeking stories and examples of practical and innovative approaches related to the theme of this year’s conference, ASSEMBLE: embracing our network, and the concept of assemblage, where people, things, and stories intertwine to spark innovation and drive change. As arts administrators, we are vital in creating these spaces. At this year’s conference, you will connect with inspiring colleagues, delve into shared solutions, forge partnerships, meet mentors, and create friendships to amplify the impact in your community. What stories and/or examples do you have related to this theme? Some possible topics could include, but are not limited to, innovative approaches to mentorship, creating networks, partnerships, community building, and collaboration.

Please feel free to interpret this theme of ASSEMBLE broadly. You may wish to share your thoughts about an idea or project, experience, approach, etc. We are available to assist and support in developing a topic should anyone wish to reach out.

CASE STUDIES
The case studies are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, September 25, 2024, following the Ignites. Each case study will be presented, and the discussion completed in a 20-30-minute time block. Interested members should express intent and send a brief bio (one or two sentences) by May 20, 2024, to  Elissa Armstrong ([email protected]), O. Gustavo Plascencia ([email protected]) and Paige Williams ([email protected]). Please find the NCAA Case Study Guidelines HERE. You may outline your case study proposal, or send an actual case study, in 350 words or fewer. Detailed instructions will follow once interest is expressed and the precise timing and number of presenters may be adjusted before September.
